Cakes n Sweets Bakery is a specialty bakery where creativity meets exceptional craftsmanship. We create custom cakes for every occasion, from birthdays and weddings to milestone celebrations, while also offering a delicious selection of cupcakes, cake pops, macarons, and other handcrafted treats. Every creation is thoughtfully designed and made with care, bringing each client's vision to life.
Our story began in 2010 as a home-based bakery founded by Shiela Silang. During her maternity leave in 2009 with her second child, Shiela discovered a passion for cake decorating and challenged herself to create a unique cake for her son every month until his first birthday.
As friends and family admired her creations, demand quickly grew. What started as a simple Facebook page soon flourished through word of mouth and a loyal community of repeat customers who believed in her work.
In October 2014, Cakes n Sweets Bakery proudly opened its first retail location in Coquitlam, British Columbia. Today, we continue to serve our community with beautifully crafted custom cakes and baked goods, combining artistry, quality, and heartfelt service to help make life's sweetest moments even more memorable.
